CRP Joins Over 10 Partners At Essen Exhibition, Winning High Praise For Full-Scenario Intelligent Welding Solutions

Recently, the 29th Beijing Essen Welding and Cutting Exhibition concluded successfully at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). With an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, the event gathered nearly 1,000 domestic and overseas exhibitors, covering the entire industrial chain including welding, cutting, smart equipment, and new materials.

 

At this year's exhibition, although CRP did not set up an independent booth, it systematically presented core intelligent welding solutions-such as high-performance integrated cold welding robots, collaborative welding robots, and laser welding robots-through the booths of over a dozen partners located in Halls 5, 6, 7, and 8. During the exhibition, CRP conducted live cloud tours via its Douyin and WeChat Video accounts, guiding online visitors through partner booths one by one to view products, processes, and applications, bringing a front-row experience to the audience.

01 High-Performance Integrated Cold Welding Solution

 

 

 

The high-performance integrated cold welding solution exhibited on-site adopts the Cold Arc process. Through precise, high-frequency control of wire retraction and feeding by the servo wire feeding gun, combined with dual physical and electromagnetic effects, it achieves softer droplet transition, resulting in a near-zero spatter welding effect.

Live welding demonstrations were conducted on various materials including aluminum alloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper. The weld seams presented uniform and fine fish-scale patterns with minimal spatter and low thermal deformation. Partners reported receiving multiple targeted inquiries for aluminum welding projects on the very first day. Overseas buyers also carefully examined the weld seams and gave high praise to the domestic solution.

From a technical perspective, the DS350-SL-Q welder features an oxide crushing function. Combined with contact retraction arc starting, it fundamentally solves the industry pain points of traditional arc starting spatter and oxide interference. It can achieve welding of ultra-thin carbon steel plates as thin as 0.4mm. In galvanized sheet welding, it minimizes zinc burn-off, resulting in excellent back formation. The transition frequency reaches over 100Hz, significantly increasing welding speed without breaking the arc.

The aluminum welding process covers the full thickness range above 0.8mm: C and C intermittent welding are suitable for 0.8-2mm thin aluminum parts (outdoor furniture, bicycle components); C+P and dual-pulse C+P are suitable for 2-5mm aluminum parts (scooters, automotive parts, battery trays); single pulse and dual pulse are suitable for thick aluminum parts above 4mm (power brackets, etc.).

 

 

02 Collaborative Welding Solution

CRP's collaborative welding robot attracted a large audience with its convenient operation and comprehensive functions: full-joint drag teaching, a unique dragging device equipped with 8 programming buttons and a six-direction joystick, allowing programming to be completed without a teach pendant. It comes standard with a welding software package supporting functions such as weaving, multi-layer and multi-pass, position finding, and arc tracking.

The exhibition site also showcased a specialized character welding solution (for steel structure identification welding, with one-click import to automatically generate trajectories) and a collaborative plasma cutting solution. Meanwhile, the mobile welding workstation became a highlight of the event. It mounts a collaborative robot on an AGV cart, which can be remotely controlled to move via an operation handle. The base can be elevated by 1 meter to adapt to larger workpieces. Equipped with a 3D camera, it achieves automatic seam scanning and positioning, and can memorize movement paths for autonomous navigation.

 

03 Laser Welding Robot Solution

CRP's laser series robots are designed for laser welding/cutting/cladding/hardening/cleaning/laser-arc hybrid welding. After high-precision calibration, they offer high trajectory accuracy and stable operation, meeting the stringent requirement of cutting small circles with a diameter of 6mm.

In terms of safety, it features built-in mechanical anti-collision functions and a hardware safety emergency stop unit, allowing rapid shutdown in case of accidental collision. The laser welding head is equipped with coaxial anti-collision functionality; the emergency stop alarm is triggered if collision resistance exceeds 500g, with an anti-collision reset accuracy of ±0.1mm. In terms of functions, it comes standard with a laser process package: power control, wire feeding, ramp-up and ramp-down, laser firing in advance and attenuation, wire sticking detection, wire replenishment, etc. It supports PWM control of lasers and laser process job number calling. The E-type vertical teach pendant is 325g lighter than horizontal screen models and offers 30% faster programming, supporting 30-meter cables. The G95 compact control cabinet weighs only 50kg, accepts single-phase 220V input, facilitates integration into laser hosts, has a built-in UPS, and supports regenerative braking.

The site focused on displaying multiple laser welding application scenarios: a high-power laser welding head matched with a CRP robot, supporting servo push-pull wire feeding, anti-collision devices, integrated copper nozzles, and HD CCD imaging for real-time monitoring of the welding process. Additionally, a laser-arc hybrid welding solution was exhibited, achieving single-sided welding with double-sided formation. It is suitable for welding medium-thick plates without beveling and has broad application prospects in the steel structure industry.

 

Although the 29th Essen Exhibition has concluded, the intelligent welding solutions presented by CRP through over a dozen partners-from high-performance integrated cold welding robots to collaborative welding robots and laser welding robots-covered diverse application scenarios for welding automation.
