Recently, the "2025 Sichuan Top Ten Economic Influential Figures" event was held in Chengdu. As the "Oscars" of Sichuan's economic sector, the event paid tribute to outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs across the province, with awards such as the "2025 Sichuan Top Ten Leading Enterprises" being announced. Chengdu CRP Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. successfully won the "2025 Sichuan Top Ten Leading Enterprises" award thanks to its long-term technological accumulation, product practice, and industrial application capabilities in the robotics field. This honor is not only a recognition of the company's development but also an affirmation of its development path.

Currently, China's manufacturing industry is undergoing a critical stage of accelerated evolution from automation to intelligence. Robots, hailed as the "crown jewel of manufacturing," as a crucial foundational equipment for intelligent manufacturing, have gradually shifted from solving the question of "whether we have them" to addressing the questions of "how good they are" and "how strong they are." The focus of industrial competition has also shifted from simple product competition to a comprehensive competition of technological capabilities, scenario understanding, and industrialization capabilities.

Looking back at CRP's development, we have a deeper understanding that the robotics industry is never a sprint, but a marathon of technological accumulation, industry understanding, and long-term investment. This award as one of the "Top Ten Leading Enterprises in Sichuan" is not only a recognition of our past achievements, but also strengthens our resolve to adhere to the development direction of independent innovation and rooting ourselves in industrial scenarios.

Starting with the controller

Deepening our exploration of core robotic technologies

Founded in 2012, CRP emerged when the Chinese industrial robot market was dominated by international brands, with domestic companies largely catching up. Facing a critical window of opportunity for industry development, CRP chose a challenging path – starting with robot controllers.

Controllers, often called the "brain" of a robot, handle crucial tasks such as motion control, trajectory planning, and logic execution, and are a vital component of the robot's core technology system.

Starting with controllers didn't mean limiting ourselves to them. From its inception, CRP has consistently focused on R&D and innovation centered on core robot technologies. As technological accumulation deepened, the company gradually expanded into robot bodies, control software, and complete robot products, continuously driving product development around building core robot capabilities. For over a decade, we have adhered to independent R&D, driven by actual industrial needs, and it is in this process that we have gradually developed a product portfolio covering industrial robots, collaborative robots, and embodied intelligent robots.

Looking back today, the significance of starting with controllers lies not only in entering the robot industry through core components but also in maintaining our unwavering respect and focus on the fundamental technologies of robotics.

Being deeply rooted in industrial sites is a key to CRP's growth.

The robotics industry has a distinct characteristic: technology must ultimately be tested in the industrial field. Success in the laboratory does not necessarily translate into adaptability to complex and ever-changing production environments; improvements in product parameters do not necessarily translate into customer value.

Therefore, from its inception, CRP has been committed to deeply engaging with industrial environments and growing alongside its customers. From welding to material handling, from palletizing to grinding, from automotive and parts manufacturing to electronics manufacturing, new energy, and metal processing, CRP continuously conducts product development and application practice around industrial scenarios.

In our view, a robot is not merely a piece of equipment, but a deeply coupled entity of "control system + software algorithm + mechanical body + industrial process." Behind every product iteration lies a deeper understanding of the needs of the industrial field; behind every technological optimization lies a continuous response to actual production problems. It is precisely through long-term service to manufacturing customers that CRP has continuously accumulated an understanding of industrial scenarios, driving continuous product optimization and capability enhancement. For CRP, the industrial field is not only a market, but also a crucial source of innovation.

From Industrial Robots to Embodied Intelligence

A Natural Extension of Technological Accumulation

In recent years, with the continuous development of technologies such as artificial intelligence and multimodal perception, embodied intelligence has become an important direction for the development of the robotics industry. For CRP, embodied intelligence is not a conceptual innovation divorced from industrial realities, but rather a result of the continuous evolution of robot capabilities. Whether it's an industrial robot or an embodied intelligent robot, its underlying capabilities rely on the continuous improvement of perception, control, and execution. CRP's long-term accumulation of motion control technology, industrial scenario experience, and engineering capabilities in the robotics field forms a crucial foundation for exploring next-generation robotic technologies.

In March of this year, we showcased our second-generation wheeled humanoid robot, the RHM-T1W, for the first time. This robot combines a wheeled chassis with a humanoid upper body, possessing functions such as autonomous obstacle avoidance, path planning, and ramp driving. It can achieve sub-millimeter-level motion control, completing complex movements such as bending, turning, and grasping, making it more suitable for essential industrial scenarios such as inspection, handling, and auxiliary operations.

CRP's independently developed "robot brain" adopts a two-layer intelligent architecture: the bottom layer is based on a large 3D visual model, enabling robots to "understand" complex industrial environments; the upper layer relies on a knowledge base of more than 70 industries and more than 2,000 process data, combined with haptic feedback technology, to ensure that professional tasks are "performed well". Through the full-link architecture of "perception-decision-execution-iteration", it truly realizes "making robots understand industry better".

Behind the honor lies a reaffirmation of long-termism.

Over the past decade, China's robotics industry has undergone profound changes. From reliance on imports to accelerated domestic substitution, from single-point applications to large-scale deployment, from automated equipment to intelligent systems, robots are becoming a vital force driving the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

CRP has been fortunate to participate in and witness this process. From controller R&D to complete machine manufacturing, from industrial robots to the exploration of embodied intelligence, we have always adhered to one principle: conducting technological innovation around the actual needs of the manufacturing industry and promoting product implementation around industrial development.

For CRP, the greatest significance of being awarded the "2025 Sichuan Top Ten Leading Enterprises" award lies not so much in receiving an honor, but in reaffirming the value of its long-term commitment to independent R&D and deep integration into industrial scenarios.
